What is Safetynet in Payouts ?

Modified on Fri, 22 Aug at 12:05 PM

  • The Safetynet is simply the minimum equity level you must maintain in your funded account at all times. For example, in a $100,000 account, if the Safetynet is $5,100, it means your equity should not fall below $94,900.

  • The minimum balance required for payout depends on both your initial balance and the Safetynet buffer. For a $100,000 account, to request a $500 payout, your balance must be $100,000 + $500 (profit) + Safetynet buffer = $105,600.

  • Regarding the $200,000 account, here are the Safetynet and payout levels for reference:

$200,000 Account Example

  • Safetynet = $10,200

  • Minimum equity must remain above $189,800

  • To withdraw $1,000 profit, balance must be $200,000 + $1,000 + $10,200 = $211,200

For your convenience, here’s a quick summary of the minimum payout balances across account sizes:

  • $5,000 Account → Safetynet $255 → Minimum balance for $100 payout = $5,355

  • $10,000 Account → Safetynet $510 → Minimum balance for $200 payout = $10,710

  • $20,000 Account → Safetynet $1,020 → Minimum balance for $400 payout = $21,420

  • $50,000 Account → Safetynet $2,550 → Minimum balance for $1,000 payout = $53,550

  • $100,000 Account → Safetynet $5,100 → Minimum balance for $2,000 payout = $107,100

  • $200,000 Account → Safetynet $10,200 → Minimum balance for $4,000 payout = $214,200

This way, it’s consistent across all account sizes.
