What are the Rules for a 1-Step Account and When Can It Be Breached?

Modified on Thu, 28 Aug at 12:46 PM

The 1-Step account at Funds.Pro is designed to be simple yet disciplined. Your account can be breached (failed) if any of the following rules are broken:

1.

Maximum Daily Loss

  • If your equity, including open trades, drops below the daily loss limit on any trading day, the account will be breached.

  • This is calculated on floating equity (not just closed trades).

2.

Maximum Overall Loss (Drawdown)

  • If your account equity falls below the allowed overall drawdown threshold, the account will be closed.

  • This applies regardless of how many trades or days you’ve traded.

3.

Trading Ethics Rules

  • Engaging in prohibited trading strategies will result in termination.

  • Examples include:

    • Hedging on the same instrument across multiple accounts.

    • Copy trading or mirroring external signals.

    • Gambling-like behavior (over-leveraging, rapid-fire trades, etc.).

  • Full list here: Restricted Strategies

4.

Consistency & Asset Rules

  • More than 50% of your total profits cannot come from a single asset (e.g., only trading Gold or BTC).

  • The 30% Rule applies in the funded stage, meaning no single trade/day should account for more than 30% of your overall profit.

5.

Weekend Trading

  • Weekend trading is only allowed if you purchased the Weekend Trading Add-On.

  • If you don’t have this add-on, all positions must be closed before the weekend to avoid breach.

6.

Other Standard Rules

  • Minimum 5 trading days are required to complete the challenge successfully.

  • Follow platform leverage, spread, and instrument availability as provided.

✅ In summary:

As long as you respect the daily & overall loss limits, avoid prohibited strategies, and follow the consistency rules, your 1-Step account will remain active and valid.
